Questions

The things people ask us most.

Straight answers, no sales spin. Still wondering something? Just ask — a real person will get back to you.

How much does a website actually cost?

Less than you'd think. A proper website doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg — our all-in Contractor Package starts at £500, and most small-business sites land in a clear, fixed range we agree up front. After a quick chat we send one honest quote with no hidden extras.

How long does it take to build?

Most marketing sites go live in a couple of weeks, depending on how ready your content is. Larger builds and web apps take longer — but you'll always have a timeline before we start, and you'll know exactly where things stand along the way.

Do I actually own the site when it's done?

Yes — completely. You own the code, the content and the domain. There's no page-builder lock-in and no rented templates, so you can host it wherever you like and take it anywhere. It's yours, forever.

Can I update the site myself afterwards?

If you want to. Our optional Website Editor add-on lets you change text, photos, colours and whole sections yourself and publish in seconds — no code, nothing to break. Prefer to leave it with us? We offer care plans for that too.

Will my site show up on Google?

Search-engine readiness is built into every Pixrweb build from day one — fast Core Web Vitals, clean structure and proper metadata. Rankings depend on your market and content over time, but your site starts on the right foot, not playing catch-up.

Do you work with businesses outside your area?

Absolutely. Pixrweb works with founders, trades and small teams wherever they are — most of the process happens over email, calls and shared previews, so location is rarely a factor. You always deal directly with the person building your site.

Got something to build?

Tell us about the project. We'll come back within one working day with honest thoughts on scope, timeline and budget — no hard sell.
